- The Witches' March (from the beginning of March to the end of October):
  - Guided Walk between Sare & Zugarramurdi
  - Departure from the Caves of Sare
  Follow your guide and turn the pages of the History of the Basque Country. Learn more about the Witch hunts of Labourd and Navarre between 1609 & 1610. On the forest trail and up to the Zugarramurdi caves, discover Basque culture, its myths, legends and superstitions.
  
  Information:
  - Hike of approximately 3h30
  - 8KM (205 M elevation gain)
  - Medium Level (according to official walking manuals)
  - Includes a guide-storyteller throughout the Walk, a visit to the Zugarramurdi caves and the village, a game for children and a small souvenir.
  - The Walk is not recommended for children under 7 years old and people with reduced mobility.
  Languages offered:
  Visit in French only

  Basajaun Night (summer only):
  - Night Walk - Guided between Sare & Zugarramurdi
  - Departure from the Caves of Sare
  Basajaun, the lord of the Basque forests welcomes us to his Kingdom for a night walk full of surprises. With your guide, bring the most famous characters of Basque mythology to life by candlelight.
  - Night hike of approximately 2h30
  - Around 4km (average level)
  - Includes a guide-storyteller throughout the walk, an introduction to the Basque language and the mythology of the Basque Country, several tales told by candlelight.
  - A little gourmet and unusual tasting in the middle of the night.
  - Walking is not recommended for children under 7 years old and people with reduced mobility.

Julien est un vrai "guide" 💫 : il partage avec naturel et enthousiasme son Pays et ses connaissances. Il crée des parallèles entre Histoire et histoires, faits 🧚 et légendes🧙‍♀️, éclaire les événements d'informations. Il fait le lien avec le passé, le présent, les choix, conséquences, savoir et croyances. Politique, religion, mythologie. Sur fond de nature, accompagnés par les éléments des lieux et les êtres qui y vivent.. plus qu'une marche ! Le rythme s'adapte à tous et Julien est attentif à chacun. De beaux supports visuels ! Une transmission familiale rendue accessible à tous, de belles rencontres et de jolies découvertes. Mille mercis.

This is a first for us to hike with a guide. I was hesitant because in general the guides are boring 😁 But then Fabien is really captivating and the legends of witches are told with taste and passion; we are immersed in his stories. When the walk ends, we ask for more. A repeat without hesitation ! The 5 stars are well deserved. Fabien is fascinating, smiling, and knows how to take us with him into this mystical world. The trail route is very pretty and the stories told lend themselves well to the locations. The little cards handed out to the children are great and leave them with a great memory. Thank you for this top organization!

Une super randonnée avec un guide au top ! Julien est passionné, aime transmettre et ça se ressens . Je me suis régalée du début à la fin ! Le lieu est superbe , la forêt est apaisante et les grottes magnifiques. Je vous recommande de faire cette randonnée avec Julien ! Encore merci 😊
