  Food was delicious, atmosphere was great having a more lively vibe upstairs and a nice place for dinner downstairs. The octopus and short ribs were 10/10. The wait staff was a little too pushy, sitting down to having plates cleared was less than 30 minutes. We also wanted to enjoy the evening and not be asked about dessert 4/5 times. Otherwise the place was great and would still go back

  Fabulous! Everything we had was delicious. I ordered the Aitana salad that was well balanced and a refreshing start though a small amount of the avocado was beyond its best but nearly all was good. The octopus was sublime. Best I've ever had…anywhere. A smokey caramelised sauce complemented by perfectly cooked potatoes and avocado puree. The octopus was tender and the colour radiant. Excellent and worth every cent. My partner devoured the lemon tarte. Rich and delectable.

  We were lucky to get a last minute Sunday evening reservation at Aitana Donostia and were blown away by the food, the drink, and the service. We each had a quite excellently balanced Paloma cocktail, a selection of very tasty starters and the quite excellent octopus with a side order of the delicious pimiento piquillos. So nice.
