An astonishing looking machine, with organic movements...

The Swincar is truly a UFO in the recreational sports world. You have never seen anything like it. A few years ago, Nicolas decided to train to support and supervise people with disabilities in sports activities. On the day of his training, he met Pascal Rambaut, a sports architect who invented a revolutionary all-terrain electric vehicle 10 years ago! The Swincar benefits from an ingenious design, the nacelle where the driver is installed, is independent of the chassis which connects it to the 4 fully autonomous wheels. It is a patented pendulum movement, which allows, to put it simply, to never tip over or lose your balance. Thus, the Swincar moves like a spider, in technical passages it is terribly agile and stable. The bodies of the driver and his passenger remain straight, because the slope is absorbed and corrected by the positioning of the wheels.

The Swincar is registered, it deploys 6000 watts with its electric motor, the equivalent of a 350cc motorcycle, to give an idea of its power. No need to worry about its autonomy: It can last 3 to 4 hours and the advantage of the electric motor is that it recharges while driving, with a dynamo system! You hardly ever brake, you use the powerful engine brake to slow down.

To drive a Swincar, you need a car driving licence or a BSR if you are also accompanied by an adult. There are no speeds, the controls are on the steering wheel, it is very ergonomic and designed so that paraplegics, with various disabilities or with reduced mobility, can use it. Because it is above all this condition, that Nicolas wanted to fulfill, by creating his activity: to be able to finally offer leisure activities to the public with particular needs, too often forgotten. The sumptuous paths, the magnificent views of the Basque Country are now accessible to all!

The Swincar, easy to use to go on an adventure

There are single-seater models but also two-seater, because you can take a passenger for the ride! Children from 6 years old can accompany their parents. The passenger is in the back, comfortably installed to enjoy the view and the sensations offered by the Swincar. After a good coffee at the Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle base, Nicolas gives a briefing on the release and presentation of the machine. All you need is a bicycle helmet (supplied if necessary), as a safety element. In 2 minutes and after 150 meters on a trail to train, the participants are ready to go. The Swincar is so easy and safe that you quickly learn to drive it.

Easy handling

Nicolas always accompanies the participants on walks, for circuits of 1 hour, 1;5 hours, 2 hours or à la carte hikes, according to their desires and needs. Do you want to see the sunset? Have an aperitif in a clearing? A snack lunch with a view of the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz? Trust him to bring you to the prettiest places, in the heart of nature...

The Swincar is an ecological leisure material, which does not harm the environment. We glide quietly, smoothly, odorless. Everyone benefits from the advantages of the Swincar: nature, animals, other mountain users. The paths are preserved, you can even approach the Pottoks (the Basque wild horses) and observe the birds. Nicolas offers gentle hikes, the goal being to enjoy the landscapes while having fun with this funny machine.
