But let's dive a bit into the story:
Partially destroyed in 1450 and burnt down in 1793, the Château d'Ibarron, also called the Château des Sorcières (many witchcraft trials were held there in the 17th century) is now in ruins but was once the home of one of the families most influential in the region. You can only visit today the square tower of the 15th and 17th and some buildings of the 18th. The Church, with funeral slabs from the beginning of the 16th century, has a massive bell tower and a vault in the shape of a scallop shell, in memory of the passage of pilgrims. Visit its interior, its galleries, its blue frame ceilings...
