My stay in this hotel was a good one, and I would recommend it to others visiting the Hendaye area!! I have split the review into positive and things to improve: Positives: 1) The hotel is very close to the beach, but far enough away to not hear the crowds. 2) Whilst you do have to pay a fee to park your car in the hotel, it is cheaper and safer than parking on the street. The hotel charges €28 a night for parking. 3) I slept in a newly refurbished room that faced the swimming pool. Not only did I have a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and air-conditioning that worked well, but also I was not disturbed by the swimming pool noise. 4) I had breakfast at the hotel once and found it to be light on choices, BUT it was good quality and fresh. Moving onto areas I think the hotel could do better: 1) Replenish the water bottle offered to guests on the first night. Guests staying at the hotel have paid significant sums to stay in your hotel, so a simple touch would be to replenish the water provided in the rooms. 2) Having visited the Basque Country for many years, I understand the issue with ants and also understand they are harmless and guests need to avoid leaving food laying around. HOWEVER, on the first night, I found a load of ants under the bed, which I managed myself. Having looked at the reviews, it would seem this is a wider issue at the hotel and may need to be addressed urgently!! Overall, I would stay again, and recommend to friends and family.

Great hotel, the interior is beautiful and has been installed very recently. Service was outstanding, everyone was very helpful and kind. Location is also great, very close to the beach. Breakfast was also very good. They do offer cold water for free, which is a big advantage as well. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location! 100m from the beach. Underground parking. Swimming pool, gym, sauna. The apartment was adequately equipped for a family of 4. However, the sofa bed was not very comfortable.
