  EXCELLENT ! Nothing to complain about. We were coming from Paris for the weekend and had initially booked an Airbnb, which we unfortunately got back in a terrible state. Unable to stay there, we came across the Mercure hotel, where the teams were able, immediately and with great responsiveness, to find a solution for us. The rooms are impeccable, very well equipped and perfectly soundproofed. The welcome and kindness of the staff were more than appreciable, it’s really a pleasure to find such a sense of service again. Special mention to Jackie, who looked after our safety when we returned in the evening, with extreme kindness. A huge thank you! We have now found our reference hotel in Biarritz.   The bed was not a queen size, it was very small. The chromecast did not work, the water in the shower was not hot. Some very unpleasant receptionists upon entering, they don't even say hello. Dusty coffee glasses in the room. The man who served in the breakfast area was very pleasant and friendly. He The only parking space in front of the hotel, intended for unloading suitcases, was occupied all day by a blue Peugeot. One of the worst 4 stars I've ever been to. If you are not on a high floor it is impossible to sleep because of the noise from the street. I would not return nor recommend it.
