- Listed as a Historic Monument, the Gramont Castle offers a journey through time! We embark on six centuries of architecture and turbulent history, told by country guides and storytellers. From the top of the 15th century keep, the castle offers a unique 360° panorama over the Bidouze valley and the Pyrenees chain. Many activities punctuate the life of this majestic castle with its false Scottish air: nocturnal torchlight tours, musical fireworks in summer and historical shows in period costumes.

A place full of energy, a very friendly welcome by the members of the association who were dressed up for the occasion. I recommend this magical and emblematic place.

This shell of a castle looks best from a distance, adding drama to the scenery. Close up it is less impressive, but another ideal place for a quick stop when driving from A to B.
