    • Hydrospeed in Itxassou

      Hydrospeed or whitewater swimming consists of descending a river using a foam float propelled with flippers. Like a fish in water.

      • Activity supervised by a state-certified instructor.
      • The minimum age is 12 years old and knowing how to swim is compulsory.
      • For pre-teens, 8 to 12 years old, Evasion 64 offers adapted sessions for this activity.
      • Bring a bathing suit or shorts, closed shoes (sneakers, etc.) and toiletries to take a shower after the activity.
      • Duration of the activity: 1h30 minimum. Duration of preparations: 45 mins (equipment, transport, briefing)

      35 € adults and 30 € teenagers for half a day.

      Group rate (10 people or more): minus 10% of the base rate per person

    Really relaxed place and great rafting experience! The guides were fun, we had a lot of fun. Also there are some exciting flows in the river. Extra note, we had a flat tire on our way there, they helped us out tremendously, including a pickup!

    Me and my two sons were part of a group of 10 that Tom took hydrospeeding. The rest of the group were French but Tom made the effort to do all the instructions in English and French and made the whole experience great. Well worth a visit for any of the water sports that the team do here!

    We highly recommend Evasion for a family day out. We did the rafting tour over 2-3 hours all inclusive and it was a first for adults as well as children. Definitely not a last!
