  Although this campsite is certainly generally good, it was not my cup of tea. It is the kind of campsite with small spots and little privacy; some spots have multiple cars parked right in front of them, many spots are next to facilities or playgrounds and it does not quiet down at night (there is a curfew but not everyone takes it seriously). There are lots of very loud people and their equally loud children and grumpy teenagers. Many people come in groups and choose to stand close to their fellow countrymen to make new friends or be with family. If this is what you are looking for, the campsite is perfect, but if you like the idea that you are actually in France, if you enjoy peace and quiet or if you like to get up early to catch waves or be otherwise active, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The facilities are good and clean although it's not super handy that the toilets and showers are in separate buildings on opposite sides of the campsite. Staff is extremely friendly and there is always someone available to help you out. Special shout-out to the massage service provided at the campsite, which is also very good. There is a well-stocked shop and a nice swimming pool although in high season there is little space to swim in it for adults. The location is of course awesome; you can walk right out to the beach which is good for surfing through a door at the back of the campsite, and there is a bus stop with plenty of service right in front. Tips: bring a long cable because the electricity points are far out, especially for those in tents (I needed about 25-30 meters). They do have extra cables at reception. Also, take into account that if you travel with a tent, you will have to walk from your designated parking spot and not all spots are close. It might be a good one to check out their map on the website and ask for a specific spot, although I'd imagine you'd have to book well in advance for that.

  Another year and another return to this fantastic site. Everyone is friendly and efficient from the reception staff through the bar/restaurant staff to the maintenance personnel. A brilliant location with excellent access to the beach. The location suits us as we love to walk along the beach in either direction and sample/enjoy the numerous hospitality locations between Biarritz and Bidart. Will definitely be returning again next year.

  Great site in an amazing location. The beach is lovely with beautiful sunsets over the sea. We cycled into Biarritz which is about 3 miles away but I believe there are bus services. Bidart is worth a visit too. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Will be going again.
