  We had a great time here. If you're not a French speaker, it can be difficult to communicate with the owner, but persevere and be patient and you will be rewarded. The rooms are basic and the cleaner needs some new glasses as the standard of cleanliness was poor, but the evening meal was a delight and we mixed in with the others staying and had a really great evening.

  Very good first stop. The reservation was made and confirmed for us by the nice people at the Pilgrim Office SJPDP as well as notified them that we’d stay for dinner and breakfast. Absolutely magnificent vistas in the morning. We asked for breakfast a 8, the proprietress insisted on 7 and we were treated to a beautiful sunrise.

  Don't understand the one star reviews, really this is a great place to stay and good price. Great food and welcoming owner. Perhaps people's language barrier results in miscommunication.
