      The store is open all year round, Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm.
      In July and August, the shop is open Monday to Friday continuously from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.


      The guided tour for everyone

      In July and August, we offer free tours of the cannery, without registration, to learn all about Espelette pepper and enjoy.

      • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
      • Fridays at 4:30 p.m.

      Are you on a group trip to the Basque Country ? Would you like to know more about Basque gastronomy ? BiPia offers you a guided tour of their cannery followed by a cooking demonstration and tastings. A group activity that is both delicious and enriching, to learn everything about Espelette pepper.

      • From the Americas to the Basque Country, the history of this chili pepper seed

      To begin, BiPia offers you a historical journey on the origins of Espelette pepper and its arrival in the Basque Country. What were its first uses? Where does its famous name ESPELETTE pepper come from? The team also presents its cannery and its values.

      • From seed to field, growing chilli peppers

      Discover the steps required to grow Espelette pepper: its specificity, the work of men, the requirements of the AOP. With a presentation of the pepper plants of the year, the vegetative cycle and the progress of the harvest.


      • From field to pot, the work of transformation

      Through large windows overlooking the workshop, you will discover the Espelette pepper processing circuit. Explanations on the different stages of creation and manufacturing of our products. Presentation of the achievements and uses in BiPia's kitchen. During the week and according to the schedule, you will be able to observe how our team works with Espelette pepper.


      • From pot to plate, culinary tricks and gourmet tasting

      For the greatest pleasure of gourmands, cooking demonstration before your eyes with two simple and quick recipes easily reproducible at home. You will thus have all the tips to enhance your dishes! Finally, taste their products and let yourself be seduced by the Espelette pepper.
