- The Witches' March (from the beginning of March to the end of October):
  - Guided Walk between Sare & Zugarramurdi
  - Departure from the Caves of Sare
  Follow your guide and turn the pages of the History of the Basque Country. Learn more about the Witch hunts of Labourd and Navarre between 1609 & 1610. On the forest trail and up to the Zugarramurdi caves, discover Basque culture, its myths, legends and superstitions.
  
  Information:
  - Hike of approximately 3h30
  - 8KM (205 M elevation gain)
  - Medium Level (according to official walking manuals)
  - Includes a guide-storyteller throughout the Walk, a visit to the Zugarramurdi caves and the village, a game for children and a small souvenir.
  - The Walk is not recommended for children under 7 years old and people with reduced mobility.
  Languages offered:

  Basajaun Night (summer only):
  - Night Walk - Guided between Sare & Zugarramurdi
  - Departure from the Caves of Sare
  Basajaun, the lord of the Basque forests welcomes us to his Kingdom for a night walk full of surprises. With your guide, bring the most famous characters of Basque mythology to life by candlelight.
  - Night hike of approximately 2h30
  - Around 4km (average level)
  - Includes a guide-storyteller throughout the walk, an introduction to the Basque language and the mythology of the Basque Country, several tales told by candlelight.
  - A little gourmet and unusual tasting in the middle of the night.
  - Walking is not recommended for children under 7 years old and people with reduced mobility.

What a great encounter during this Night hike "La Nuits de Basajaun", with Julien our guide, a kind, dynamic young man passionate about the History of his Region. We followed him by lantern light along the smugglers' trail along the border with Spain and took advantage of the stops to listen to him tell the legends of his country, richly illustrated by projected drawings on the rocks. Final bouquet where we find ourselves protected by the vault of a small cave to end on an even more intimate note and share a tasting of local products selected by Julien. Thank you very much for this special moment during which you were able to show us your passion for Basque Mythology, your universe is like a parenthesis in time, thank you for your confidences and the sharing of your childhood memories with your Grandmother, we let's have a great season, don't change anything, stay who you are and how you do it, Yours sincerely, Sebastian

Julien is a real "guide" 💫: he shares his country and his knowledge with naturalness and enthusiasm. It creates parallels between History and stories, facts 🧚 and legends🧙‍♀️, sheds light on news events. It makes the link with the past, the present, choices, consequences, knowledge and beliefs. Politics, religion, mythology. Against a backdrop of nature, accompanied by the elements of the place and the beings who live there... more than just a walk! The pace adapts to everyone and Julien is attentive to everyone. Beautiful visual aids! A family transmission made accessible to all, great encounters and lovely discoveries. Many thanks.
