Espelette, home of the famous chilli pepper, welcomes you at the foot of the first Pyrenean peaks and close to the sea, in a village restored for pedestrians and ideal for hiking.

Welcoming and warm like the peppers that adorn their walls and brighten their kitchen, Auxtin Darraidou and his team will help you discover all the richness of their gastronomy:
Axoa, tripoxa, Banka trout from Goiko, “Axuria” suckling lamb, Idikia veal under the mother, Ibaïama pork from Ospital… So many generous dishes inspired by the Basque Country.
