  It was so much fun. The tour was really insightful, went through the entire process and all the main rooms without getting boring. Got to try some really interesting ciders and apple juice, and then the food was exquisite. They catered for vegetarians as well, which was really appreciated, and the meat and fish dishes were exceptional. Amazing value for money, especially considering the amount of cider you get, which during your meal, you go and get directly from the huge casks in the warehouse, which just adds to the fun (I won’t spoil the surprise). Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you to the entire team who are very professional friendly.

  Transport from San Sebastián , detailed cidery tour at Saizar and a multi-course meal included, right as it says on the package. Opportunity to purchase the cidery’s produce at the end, but it’s not forced/insisted on at all. Also, Sagardoa Route was the only cider tour provider to admit a solo traveller to the tour like myself (all others insist on 2 persons minimum ). Was a bit difficult finding the guide at the start since the bar at the meeting point had no idea what the guides or the company looked like and the van was unmarked, but this can be easily fixed I think. For the tour I selected, at 75euro, it was little bit on the pricey side, but still good value for money for the experience.

  It was a great experience, easy to book and well organised activity. Our wonderful guide Maya picked us up and drove to Albaola first to see San Juan ship and then we had a tour and dinner in Sagardotegia Astarbe, which, of course, you can also book by yourself, but having such dedicated and enthusiastic guide like Maya makes the experience truly local-like and exciting. I highly recommend Sagardoa Route team as they are keen to share such local experiences and help you to discover local culture and Basque traditions.
