  The staff on arrival were excellent especially Sebastian on reception and Alex in the bar, who made excellent gin & toincs. Unfortunately this wasn’t a great hotel for us, Our room was very small and the design of the shower room was impractical. The bed linen was in poor condition, the mattress protector and duvet were in need of a professional clean as they’d yellowed with use. The air conditioning was ineffective and noisy. On check out on 17th August my husband mentioned this to receptionist who’s reaction implied that she was not interested. Also as we were traveling by car it would have been useful if the hotel had mentioned on booking that we needed to pre book a parking space. Reception is on the 9th floor so we had to unload all our luggage take it to the 9th floor, check-in and then load it back in the elevator to ou room on the 8th floor.

  One of the most horrible hotels I have ever stayed. Dirty, ceilings plenty of humidity and in bad condition. The part of toilette completely uncomfortable. When taking shower the water flows outside as the tilt work is so bad made! Bad and humid smell in the room and the carpet everywhere in the hotel and room dirty and terrible smell. The location is not in the center as proposed. 15 minutes from the center but not in the center as they propose. Extremely expensive for this place. Please avoid!!!

  We left the hotel in the middle of the night, we could not stand the heat anymore! Negative: -AC is completely crap/non existing -Elevators are really slow ! -Parking needs to be booked in advance apparently and when we arrived there was no parking left so we had to park our completely stuffed car in the public street! Stayed here for 2 nights, their AC units that they claim to have are more or less centralized and keep a high temperature we were unable to get any sleep the first night. I went up to the desk and met a very friendly person who tried giving us another room but it was equally hot there… In the morning we complained to a woman in the desk and she was quite arrogant and dismissive of my complaint and said that France has regulations stating that an AC units lowest temperature can not be under 23 degrees. I have never heard this before and we stayed in several hotels in France during that week where I could control the AC units however I liked. The bathroom in the rooms are see through glass so when taking a number 2 you and your partner can gaze in to each others eyes, if you are in to that… We are not and found it quite weird. During the second night it was so warm that we checked out and left the hotel and did not complete our stay ! Also annoyed by the desk being in the top floor and the hotel extremely slow elevators.
