- 45 minutes from the Basque Coast and its beaches, 15 minutes from Spain, and at the foot of the GR10, SAINT-ÉTIENNE-DE-BAÏGORRY, a typical Basque village nestled at the foot of the mountains, is ideally placed to discover the main riches of the region and the many festivities that are organized there throughout the summer season.
  
  À 5-minute walk from the village center , in the heart of the Irouléguy vineyard, the municipal campsite of the same name, with its 69 pitches of 100 m², is located on the edge of the river, in a green and shaded setting. Very close to the swimming pool, the sports complex, a mini-market and a brasserie, we welcome you from March to November.
  
  THE CAMPSITE: Spacious and semi-shaded pitches, with, for your comfort, bread delivery in season, hot water and showers at will, washing machine, freezer, refrigerator, mail service, wifi. Holiday vouchers accepted. Dogs kept on a leash and vaccinated are allowed.

Very warm welcome Price for c.car 17 euros/person with electrical connection. Clean pitches on the grass near the torrent which rocks us with its song. Well maintained grounds. I'm not giving 5 stars because of the sanitary facilities. In fact, I find it very unpleasant to shower or go to the toilet with spiders or their webs hanging everywhere. Since the toilets are cleaned every day, what does it cost to wipe out the cobwebs every day? (In particular a large one installed behind the mirror of the sink near the showers during the 3 days of the stay which happily devoured a beetle 😋) Lighting in the toilets -> there is no lighting other than that above the sinks, which means bringing a flashlight if you need to use the toilets after dark! It's painful. Something else about showers (women) besides cobwebs: - They are adjusted in such a way that everything within spray range, including the door, is watered. We collect our soaked shoes and towels. - Start the shower with cold water, you have to let it run for a while to get the hot water. If unfortunately we let the water stop, we pour cold water on it again, it's surprising! In one of the 3 showers you start with hot water and end with cold water. It's okay in summer but in autumn it's less fun! I think there are a few things to review on the part of the town hall, especially for the price paid.
