Welcome to the hotel restaurant Le Chêne
In Elizaldea Ostatua the shepherds met after mass to drink chocolate and play music. The establishment takes its name from the hundred-year- old oak tree which faced it, and which housed a suspended terrace, where we took the time to chat while watching pelota matches.
In 1950, the original oak disappeared but the establishment remained an emblematic place. Today, Le Chêne is a family home where the tradition of hospitality and friendliness continues and where local products are showcased with passion and inventiveness. The 15-room hotel is the ideal stopover for exploring the surrounding paths, the rooms are comfortable, bright and give pride of place to Basque fabrics.
You will enjoy generous and gourmet cuisine, seasonal, on the terrace or under the 250-year-old wisteria.
