  Friendly welcome, the dishes are succulent and sought-after. Second experience, I will come back, the dishes change every month.

  We knew the previous restaurant, "Restaurant du Labourd", pleasantly good and very generous. This famous Saturday our son invited us to the restaurant and oh surprise, it was the new establishment which replaced the previous one. So, a nice surprise, but short-lived. While only one table is occupied in the restaurant, we are seated upon entering on the right, at a large solid wood table, very pretty by the way. When seated, we are seated on solid wood benches. While this moment is supposed to be one of relaxation and comfort, it quickly transforms into lumbar tension and stiffness in the buttocks. The other tables in the establishment are equipped with padded and apparently comfortable armchairs. My wife and I are over 60 years old, and the installation quickly becomes painful. No cushions available for any semblance of comfort. But in continuity, our children seated in front of us narrowly miss falling, leaning back slightly. The incident could have been dangerous since the fall would have caused impacts on the ground but also against the beams. The rest of the meal therefore took place in a tense manner, with everyone watching their movements and their balance. The seats are not fixed!!!! This incident hardly moved the staff who neither moved nor had any words on the subject. In terms of regulations and safety there are major shortcomings. Too polite, we did not even dwell on this incident, the staff were passive witnesses anyway. What are the criteria for placement in this restaurant, we wonder. But this is in any case not the age of the guests, except privilege reserved for regulars, which is unfortunately customary in the region. The comfort reserved for us is in contradiction with the pretensions displayed by this restaurant, since we would have been just as comfortable on the terrace of a venta. For our part, the cuisine was in good taste, but uneven depending on the guests and the dishes chosen. I leave it to the people concerned to provide their feelings.
