Pirate is a micro-cannery created two years ago. All the fish comes from the fish market of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the Basque Country and from a few fishermen directly. Pirate transforms everything by hand on an old duck farm, in Saint Laurent de Gosse in the Landes. This cannery was born with the aim of promoting the resource through modern and tasty recipes, but also with an ecological and meaningful goal, avoiding food waste. Pirate Cannerie, only works with seasonal fish. It also promotes social integration by calling on an ESAT to pack its boxes. The adventure also has an educational purpose via social networks to raise awareness among the general public of the issues of fishing and more sustainable consumption. This modern cannery uses a smoked/braised range and a more cooked range for each of its products. You can find tuna, octopus, trout and mackerel in all its forms. Pirate is not just cans, it is generous whole fillets of fish to accompany or even create original and gourmet dishes.
