    • 12 km from Itxassou, near the GR10, in the heart of nature, you will arrive at the Spanish border to discover this traditional Venta. A change of scenery guaranteed here.

      The restaurant will offer you very good quality specialties such as veal chop, lamb shoulder or prime rib all year round, meat specialties and cooking over a wood fire.

      Cider house menu €44 : omelette, porcini mushrooms, trout, prime rib, cheese, Basque cake and cider

      A la carte suggestions also.

      Closed at the end of the Christmas holidays until the start of the February holidays in the Aquitaine zone.
      Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

    Great restaurant between France and Spain in the Basque Country. Food is local, delicious and plenty! Lunch gets busy with walkers and locals. Bit difficult to get to but totally worth it!

    Best to do a reservation before showing up. You a choice of dishes from the surrounding locations, régions and includes "Galicea"and mostly meat based. Also local cheese and try the "piquillos" (not a main dish ). Simple Wood décor that goes with the mountain surroindings.
