At 16, Maëva announced to her grandfather Michel, a former cook at Fouquet's in Paris, her desire to share her passion with him. She entered the hotel school of Montpellier "La Colline, Jules Ferry", where she studied for 5 years, and discovered her true passion: Gastronomy. Thus, Maëva exercises in several competitions, accompanied by her cooking teacher Mr Bruno Roche, such as the "Francis Trocelier" where she finishes 1st and becomes "Young hope of the disciples of Auguste Escoffier" in 2010. In 2012, Maëva obtains her BTSHospitality and Catering. After having proven herself during her studies at the TOUR D'ARGENT in Paris, and with Michel Roth at the RITZ PARIS, she then decided to fly to Australia in order to find new sensations there culinary.

Back from her trip, Maëva fell in love with the Basque Country, its region, its products and its landscape. She therefore decides to settle there and begins to work in beautiful houses on the coast.
