Located in the heart of the charming village of Ascain, Gabatxo is a unique hybrid of cheese shop, delicatessen and wine cellar. Whether it's our cheese and charcuterie stalls or our wine cellar, we take great care in selecting our products and working closely with producers.
Our cheese shop celebrates diversity with over 50 varieties of cheese, selected from the best in the Basque country, France, and nuggets from Italy, Switzerland and (even) England. The delicatessen is a tribute to local flavors, featuring charcuterie and products emblematic of the South-West.
As for the cellar, let us guide you through 350 references of wines, most of them organic, and benefit from the expert advice of our passionate sommeliers. At Gabatxo, every visit is a promise of discovery and pleasure, with the guarantee of leaving with treasures to taste.
